Coature London: Natural-Fibre Outerwear, Designed in London

Coature London is a British womenswear brand focused on luxury coats, knitwear and accessories made with exceptional natural fibres. Our aim is simple: create pieces that feel beautiful to wear, perform in cold weather and remain relevant beyond a single season.

We work with wool, cashmere, camel hair, Suri alpaca and silk to create outerwear with warmth, softness and structure. Rather than relying on synthetic-heavy fabrics, we favour natural materials chosen for their handle, insulation and longevity.

Designed Around Timeless Proportions

Our coats are designed in London with an emphasis on strong silhouettes and practical details. The Brontë and Austen coats use princess seams, removable belts and high funnel necks to create a tailored shape, while the Shelley wrap coat uses hand-stitched double-faced wool and cashmere for a softer, more relaxed construction.

Each design is intended to work across wardrobes and seasons. We want a Coature coat to feel current now, but still look right years from today.

The Great Writers Collection

Our signature coat collection is inspired by influential women of British literature. The names Austen, Brontë and Shelley reflect the brand's connection between fashion, craft and the arts. As a female-founded brand, we see those references as a celebration of enduring creative work and timeless design.

Natural fibres sit at the centre of Coature. Wool offers warmth and resilience; cashmere adds softness and insulation; camel hair brings a smooth, luxurious handle; Suri alpaca creates a plush but lightweight feel; and silk contributes softness and refinement when blended into outerwear fabrics.
